Freestone, Visser named 2025-26 Weber State Big Sky Scholar Athletes

OGDEN – Two Weber State senior track and field standout athletes have been honored for their success in competition and in the classroom. Weber State women’s track and field senior Alyssa Hansen Freestone and WSU men’s track and field/cross country senior Peter Visser have been named the Weber State Big Sky Scholar Athletes for the 2025-26 academic year. Freestone has been a part of the Weber State program since 2021. She is a former Big Sky Champion and earned All-Big Sky honors three times.
