McGrath Joins Ferrum Staff as Assistant Athletic Trainer

FERRUM, Va. – Vice President for Athletics Cleive Adams has announced the hiring of Jessica McGrath as Assistant Athletic Trainer. McGrath will work with third-year Head Athletic Trainer Samantha Wangner and her staff. McGrath comes to Ferrum from Sterling College in Kansas, where she served for two years as an Athletic Training Student. McGrath earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training in May 2026. She worked with Sterling’s football, women’s basketball, track & field, men’s and women’s tennis, and men’s and women’s soccer programs.
