There’s a new sheriff in town. Longtime CanMNT centre-back Kamal Miller and frequent third-choice keeper James Pantemis’ Portland Timbers are set to welcome former Leicester City manager Martí Cifuentes as their next head coach, according to The Athletic’s Tom Bogert. Interim head coach Jack Cassidy has been in charge of Portland since former Manchester United and England full-back Phil Neville mutually parted ways with the Timbers at the end of the first half of the season in late May.
