Flour Bluff’s Steve Bonds chosen for Texas Tennis Coaches Hall of Fame

Longtime Flour Bluff tennis coach Steve Bonds is one of three coaches that have been selected for induction into the Texas Tennis Coaches Association Hall of Fame in the Class of 2026. Bonds has guided Hornets to 17 district championships and to the UIL State Tennis Tournament 13 times since beginning at the school in 2003. Flour Bluff finished 26-1 and as state runner's up last season in Class 5A team tennis, becoming the second school from Corpus Christi to advance to the state final, and freshman girls singles player Victoria Diaz captured a silver medal at this year's UIL...
