A-State Announces Week Zero Football Contest at Virginia in 2027

(7/21/26) – The Arkansas State Athletics Department announced Tuesday that A-State football will open the 2027 season with a week zero contest at Virginia. Originally scheduled for Sept. 18, 2027 in Charlottesville, Va., the contest will be played Aug. 28, 2027 at Scott Stadium. The Red Wolves non-conference schedule for 2027 continues with the home opener against Central Arkansas on Sept. 4 and a home contest against Memphis on Sept. 11. The non-conference slate concludes on Sept. 25 at Missouri State.
