Makaela Carr makes professional debut in PSL
GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- Former University of North Dakota softball player Makaela Carr made her professional debut this summer with the New York Rise of the newly-created Professional Softball League. Carr pitched in a trio of contests for the team against Kansas City, firing two innings and allowing three runs while striking out one batter. In 2025, Carr went 9-9 across 32 appearances, including nine starts, with a 3.40 ERA for the Fighting Hawks and paced the squad with 103.0 innings pitched.
