Augusta Men’s Basketball Earns NABC Team Academic Excellence Award; Two Jaguars Named to Honors Court

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University men's basketball team was recognized by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) for its work in the classroom, earning a 2025-26 NABC Team Academic Excellence Award. The award recognizes programs that finished the academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Augusta also had two student-athletes named to the 2025-26 NABC Honors Court. Graduate Evan Joyner, who earned his Master's degree in Public Administration, and graduate Kyndon Wilburg, who earned his degree in Cybersecurity, each received the honor for maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher during their careers.
