Baseball Earns 6th Straight ABCA Academic Award

Official ABCA Release TACOMA, Wash. — For the sixth straight year, the Pacific Lutheran University baseball team was honored for its success in the classroom earning the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award. The Lutes were among the 500 college programs and 320 high school programs to be recognized, including six of the nine Northwest Conference schools. To be eligible, the head coach must be an ABCA member and the team needed a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or better.
