Football Comets Open August 21

The start of the 2026 Greenville Comets football season is less than a month away. The first game will be Friday, August 21 at Don Stout Field in Greenville against North Mac. Each of the nine regular season contests will be against a South Central Conference opponent. They are on Friday nights at 7 p.m., through October 16. The Comets have only four home games this season. After the North Mac contest, they host Carlinville on September 4, Pana on September 18, and Gillespie on October 2.
