Longwood Earns ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Longwood baseball team earned the 2025-26 American Baseball Coaches Association Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack, the organization announced Wednesday. The Lancers posted a 3.15 cumulative grade-point average during the season. It is the first time Longwood claimed the award since the 2019-20 season. To be eligible for recognition, teams must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, for the entire 2025-26 academic year.
