Blazers Earn AVCA’s 2025-26 Team Academic Award

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Valdosta State volleyball team earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 season the organization announced Thursday. The Blazers were one of only five programs from the Gulf South Conference to earn the award, along with Christian Brothers, Montevallo, West Alabama and West Florida. Overall, 1,432 teams have earned the award for this past season, by maintaining a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.
