Four Highlanders Named Big South Commissioner’s Award Recipients for Tennis

Big South Release NEWARK, NJ -- Four NJIT tennis student-athletes have been named 2025-26 Big South Commissioner's Award Recipients, the conference announced Wednesday. Diana Fernandes , Petra Koszo , Laura Wipfli and Yerassyl Bakhtiyar earned this honor for their excellent work in the classroom earning a 4.0 GPA. To be named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll, student-athletes must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or better for the recently-completed academic year.
