Hurricanes sign Ronan Seeley to one-year contract
The Carolina Hurricanes announced on Thursday that they have alleviated the need for their lone scheduled arbitration hearing by agreeing to terms on a one-year, two-way contract with defenseman Ronan Seeley. The contract will pay Seeley $100,000 at the AHL level and $850,000 at the NHL level with a guaranteed minimum salary for the 2026-27 campaign of $160,000. Seeley, who the Hurricanes chose with the No. 208 overall pick in the seventh round of the 2020 NHL Draft. The left-handed blueliner made his NHL debut this past season, going without a point in his loan appearance in the Carolina lineup....
