Long-Time NYU Tennis Coach Set to Retire

New York University Men’s and Women’s Tennis Head Coach, Horace Choy , has announced his retirement. Having guided the women’s team since 1993 and the men’s team since 2007, Choy will step down officially on August 11. A mainstay of the NYU Department of Athletics, Choy posted a 224-190 record as the women’s coach. He led the Violets to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 2023 as NYU earned University Athletic Association (UAA) Coaching Staff of the Year honors.
