Patrick Kane returns to Blackhawks on two-year deal
After a three-year stint in Detroit, Patrick Kane is heading back to the team that drafted him. The Buffalo, N.Y., native signed a two-year, $16-million contract with the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday, per Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman. Kane, 37, was drafted first overall to Chicago in 2007, where he spent 16 seasons and was a key part of the Blackhawks’ dynasty that won three Stanley Cups in 2010, 2013 and 2015.
