Privateers Honored With ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award

7/23/2026 4:04:00 PM THROGGS NECK, NY – The Maritime College baseball team is one of more than 800 high school and college programs nationwide to earn the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack. This marks the fourth consecutive year in which the Privateers have received the honor. To be eligible for the award, programs must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher for the 2025-26 academic year and a head coach who is a current ABCA member.
