UNC Asheville’s Toyaz Solomon Signs First Professional Contract with Poland’s Zastal Zielona Góra

Zielona Góra, Poland – UNC Asheville men's basketball alum Toyaz Solomon has signed his first professional contract, agreeing to join Zastal Zielona Góra of the Polish Basketball League (Orlen Basket Liga) for the 2026-27 season. Solomon will begin his professional career in Europe following an outstanding three-year career with the Bulldogs. The 2025-26 Big South Conference Preseason Player of the Year finished this past season averaging 16.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 blocks per game while shooting 36.3 percent from three-point range.
