Volleyball Collects AVCA Team Academic Award for 13th Consecutive Year

QUEENS, N.Y. – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced its Academic Team Awards on Thursday. The St. John's volleyball team collected its 13 th straight AVCA Academic Team Award and its 20 th overall under the direction of Head Coach Joanne Persico . The Red Storm was also named to the Team Academic Honor Roll, as the team was recognized as being in the top 20% of GPAs in the NCAA Division I ranks.
