Volleyball Earns AVCA Team Academic Award Honors

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Rice volleyball earned the 2026 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award, the organization announced Thursday. The Owls received the honor for the 18th consecutive year after posting a 3.68 team grade-point average during the 2025-26 academic year. To earn the award, teams must maintain a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale or 4.10 on a 5.0 scale.
