VOLLEYBALL SERVES UP ACADEMIC HONOR

RICHMOND, Va. – VCU is firing aces in the classroom. For the seventh straight year, the Rams have selected as a recipient of the American Volleyball Coaches Association's (AVCA) Team Academic Award, which honors the country's top academic volleyball programs. VCU posted a combined team grade-point-average of 3.7, just a shade off of its program-record 3.75 average in 2024-25. The Rams also ranked in the top 20 percent of GPAs in Division I, earning VCU AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll distinction. VCU's 3.86 GPA for the spring semester is the highest in program history.
