Women’s Volleyball Earns 2026 AVCA Team Academic Award

The Official Site Of Mercy University Athletics DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Women's Volleyball Team has earned the 2026 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award this season. The award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. The Mavericks earn the award for the fourth straight year and the fifth time in program history. Mercy finished the academic year with a 3.64 cumulative GPA.
