Upshaw Finishes Second in 1500M at Para National Championships

NEW YORK – Austin Peay State University redshirt senior Tahmar Upshaw finished second in the 1500M at the 2026 Toyota USATF Para National Championships, Saturday, at Ichan Stadium. Upshaw raced a 3:52.75 in New York, the second-fastest mark of his career and just six hundredths of a second off his career-best from the LA Grand Prix, June 13, which also is the T46 Americas record.
