Chicago State Volleyball Takes Home AVCA Team Academic Award

CHICAGO, Ill. - The Chicago State volleyball program has earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for their work in the classroom during the 2025-26 campaign. The award, which debuted during the 1992-93 academic year, honors both collegiate and high school volleyball teams that displayed excellence in the classroom. The requirement for the award is a team maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative team grade-point average on a 4.0 scale. The Cougars were one of six Northeast Conference schools to earn the honor.
