Former UWG Men’s Basketball Player Inks Pro Contract

CARROLLTON, Ga. - Former University of West Georgia men's basketball standout Shelton Williams-Dryden '26 signed to play with Kipina Basket Aanekoski, a professional basketball team located in Äänekoski, Finland. After posting a stellar 26-9 overall record, capped off by a league title, the 2025-26 season saw Kipina win its division to earn a spot in the Korisliiga league, the top division of professional Finnish basketball.
