Senior Spotlight: Sarena Biria

Today’s senior spotlight is Sarena Biria , a Biological Sciences and History, Philosophy, and Social Science in Medicine double major from Kansas City, Kansas. Biria is a senior on the University of Chicago women’s tennis team, and she was named a 1st-Team CSC Academic All-American and ITA National Most Improved Player in 2026. She also earned All-America honors after reaching the semifinals of the Individual National Championship tournament, and she was named the UAA Player of the Year and ITA Central Region Most Improved Player after winning the ITA Central Region singles title.
