Erwin football’s Rodney Pruett named coach for East-West All-Star game

Four Western North Carolina coaches were selected for the 2027 East-West All-Star Games and Carolinas Classic, including two who earned head coaching assignments. Three of the selections were for North Carolina Coaches Association East-West All-Star events, while a fourth was for the Carolinas Classic. Erwin football coach Rodney Pruett was named the head coach of the West team for the Football All-Star Game. While the exact date will be determined, the all star game will be held following the NCHSAA state championships, Dec. 10-12, at Jamieson Stadium at Grimsley.
