Baseball earns ABCA Team Excellence Award

SEWANEE, Tenn. – The American Baseball Coaches Association announced the 2025-26 ABCA Team Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack, as Sewanee’s baseball team earned the honor. The ABCA recognized more than 800 member high school and college programs nationwide. This award honors ABCA member programs that posted a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year. This year’s award recipients include nearly 500 college programs and more than 320 high school programs. Sewanee was one of five members of the SAA to receive the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award.
