Brown Named to HBCU National Player of the Year Award Watch List

THE HILL | Alabama A&M University quarterback Cornelious Brown IV was selected on Wednesday to the Stats Perform’s HBCU National Player of the Year Award Preseason Watch List. Brown, who was most recently named to the Shriners Children’s East-West Bowl 1,000 Watch List, returns for another year that saw his 2025 campaign cut short due to an injury. He went 81-of-125 passing for 1,060 yards and seven touchdowns. He had just one interception in those 125 attempts. The Birmingham, Ala. native averaged 265.0 yards per game to bolster the offense.
