Baseball’s Dillon Kirksey Named Nominee for Appalachian League Humanitarian of the Year Award

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – Coppin State pitcher Dillon Kirksey , who is playing his summer ball with the Greeneville Flyboys, has been named the team's nominee for the Appalachian League's Humanitarian of the Year Award. The award is given to the player who makes the most notable community contributions through volunteer work and service projects during the season. Kirksey is one of eight nominees across the league which will announce its award winner at a later date.
