Central’s Yurgae finishes top 10 at Iowa Amateur

CEDAR FALLS—Ahead of his junior season with the Central College men’s golf team, Carter Yurgae (West Des Moines, Dowling Catholic HS) shared 10th place at the 124th Iowa Amateur Men’s Golf Championship this week. Playing on the par-72 course at Beaver Hills Country Club in Cedar Falls, Yurgae carded a 70-73-70—213. He finished 3 under par, improving by 10 spots during the final round on Thursday.
