Mizzou DL Sterling Webb granted TRO against NCAA, will be eligible for 2026
Missouri defensive lineman Sterling Webb has been granted a temporary restraining order (TRO) against the NCAA and will be eligible for the upcoming 2026 season, according to a report from PowerMizzou’s Cody Goodwin. Webb was one of several athletes to request a judge for a 5th year of eligibility following the adoption of a new age-based eligibility model, better known as the 5-in-5 model. This new model allows student-athletes to play 5 seasons across 5 years of eligibility, replacing the 4-in-5 model.
