New Jersey Athletic Conference All-Academic Team Announced; 17 Captains Receive Acclaim

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – A total of 1,418 student-athletes from the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) earned recognition as the 2025-26 NJAC All-Academic Team was announced today. The list includes 17 members of the Christopher Newport University football team, the only CNU program to compete in the NJAC. To qualify for the academic honor , a student-athlete must compete in a conference-sponsored sport, carry at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA through the conclusion of the fall 2025 semester, have completed a minimum of 24 credits, and hold at least sophomore academic standing.
