Tech Volleyball wins AVCA Team Academic Award

By Thomas Corhern, TTU Athletics Media Relations LEXINGTON, Ky. – Tennessee Tech volleyball has historically had success in the classroom and the Golden Eagles received recognition as they were recently selected for a Team Academic Award from the American Volleyball Coaches Association. The Golden Eagle volleyball team extended its streak of 3.0 or better semesters to 52 consecutive this Spring – a span of 26 years – as the team posted a 3.544 GPA.
