MJ Newson Named Director of Broadcasting at New Mexico State

CLAREMONT, Calif. – After serving as the voice of Pomona-Pitzer Athletics for the past year, play-by-play broadcaster MJ Newson has accepted the role of Director of Broadcasting at New Mexico State University. Newson joined the Sagehens full-time following his graduation from USC, but his relationship with Pomona-Pitzer began even earlier. While attending USC, he spent three years calling Sagehen contests, making this past season his fourth year behind the microphone for Pomona-Pitzer Athletics.
