State champs St. Xavier, Badin honored at Great American Ball Park

Badin and St. Xavier’s state baseball championship celebrations aren’t over just yet. The two Greater Cincinnati state baseball champions were honored by the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park. Badin stepped onto the field to be recognized on June 22, before the Reds' matchup with the Milwaukee Brewers. St. Xavier was celebrated on Aug. 4 before Cincinnati’s contest with the Athletics. The Badin Rams won the Ohio High School Athletic Association Division III baseball state championship on June 12, ending a 30-year drought in poetic fashion.
