Men’s Golf Earns PLATFORM Golf President’s Special Recognition Award

HOUSTON — The Rice Men's Golf team earned President's Special Recognition Team honors from PLATFORM Golf and the Golf Coaches Association of America, the organization announced Wednesday afternoon. A total of 155 schools, including 88 Division I teams, received President's Special Recognition status for having team GPAs of 3.5 or better. The Owls were one of three American Conference schools to earn the honor, joining UAB and East Carolina.
