Former Panthers Makes UEFA Women’s Champions League Debut
Former Eastern Illinois women's soccer player Amanda DaSilva made her UEFA Women's Champions League debut on Wednesday as she dressed for her current club team KF Vllaznia in Albania. The former Panther played 83 minutes as a defensive back as the team lost 2-1 to Spartak Myjava of Slovakia in the CP Mini Tournament 6. KF Vllaznia returns to action on Saturday facing Apollon Ladies FC from Cyprus. DaSilva was a three year member of the Panthers team playing at EIU from 2020-22 after opening her career with two years at Evansville. She appeared in 41 matches over three seasons...
