Four Polar Bears named Cobalt Golf All-American Scholars for 2025-2026

By Mallory Meister | GCAA All-American Scholars | ADA — Ohio Northern seniors Bennett Christy (Plymouth, Ind./Plymouth) and Joey DeSimone (Munroe Falls/Stow-Munroe Falls) as well as sophomores Ian Briars (Maumee/Anthony Wayne) and Dylan Potts (Dublin/Jerome) were named 2025-26 NCAA Division III Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America. To be eligible, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically. They also must participate in 50% of their team’s competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 79.0 in NCAA Division III, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade point average of 3.2.…
