Six Tigers Earn OVC Academic Medal of Honor

By: Ella Clark, Coordinator - Communications & Creative Content BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Six Tennessee State student-athletes earned Ohio Valley Conference Academic Medal of Honor recognition for the 2025-26 academic year, the league announced Friday. The Academic Medal of Honor is awarded annually to student-athletes who achieve the highest grade-point average in their conference-sponsored sport. Each recipient posted a perfect 4.0 grade-point average during the academic year. Tennessee State's recipients are Breon Brown (football), Sampo Stahl (men's golf), John Davis (men's track and field), Erin Martin (women's basketball), Lucia Pantigozo (women's golf) and Aroa Arrieta Castillo (women's tennis).
