NY and CT to compete for a spot in the Little League World Series Metro Region final

New York Little League state champion Port Washington fell short to Bayonne Central Little League (New Jersey) in Monday’s battle for a ticket to the Little League Baseball Metro Regional final. Bayonne bested Port Washington, 12-2, to secure the program’s first regional final appearance. The team had 10 hits and held New York to three hits in the four-inning game.
