Steenbeek, Ungor Compete on International Stage at European Championships

PARIS -- Junior Marloes Steenbeek and incoming freshman Ece Ungor represented their home countries at the 2026 European Championships in Paris, France, held July 31 through Aug. 5. Steenbeek represented the Netherlands, while Ungor competed for Turkey. Steenbeek, a back-to-back national champion in the women's solo free at the 2025 and 2026 collegiate nationals, competed in both the technical solo and free solo at the European Championships. She placed sixth in the technical solo, finishing with a final score of 243.4267. She also placed sixth in the free solo preliminary competition with a score of 265.1775, qualifying for the finals....
