Austin adds Tippen to Men’s Basketball staff

GREENVILLE, Pa. (Aug. 14) — Thiel College Men’s Basketball head coach Trey Austin announced the hiring of Trey Tippen as an assistant coach for the 2026-27 season Friday morning. Tippen joins the Tomcats for his first collegiate coaching position following a playing career at Central Baptist College in Arkansas. “We are excited to welcome Trey to our men’s basketball staff,” Austin said. “His experience as a collegiate student-athlete and his passion for the game will be valuable additions to our program.
