Blue Jays’ Spencer Arrighetti makes progress in rehab outing with Bisons

One of the Toronto Blue Jays' trade-deadline acquisitions started getting back on track Sunday. Spencer Arrighetti pitched 3.2 innings in a rehab outing with the triple-A Buffalo Bisons, allowing two runs on three hits, while striking out three and walking two. Arrighetti was diagnosed with Morton's neuroma, a condition related to a damaged or enlarged nerve that causes pain in the bottom of the foot, manager John Schneider told reporters on Monday.
