Men’s basketball adds Solis to 2026-27 recruiting class

CASTINE, Maine — The Maine Maritime Academy Men’s Basketball program is excited to announce the addition of Kaden Solis to its 2026 recruiting class, the second under Head Coach Cedric Gillette. Solis, a 6’1″ guard from Lake Jackson, Texas, joins the Mariners after a standout career at Brazoswood High School, where he was one of the premier guards in the state. As a senior, Solis averaged 15.4 points, 3.1 assists, 2.4 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game while earning First Team All-District 24-6A honors for the second consecutive season.
