VMI falls to Virginia Tech on the road

Box Score BLACKSBURG, Va. – Despite trailing ACC power and in-state foe Virginia Tech by just a goal at halftime, the VMI women's soccer team fell by a 6-0 score to the Hokies Sunday night at Thompson Field in Blacksburg, Virginia. The matchup was the first between the schools since 2004 as the Hokies improve to 2-0 all-time against the Keydets in the series.
