Comet Cross Country Named LSC Academic Champions

RICHARDSON, Texas – Both of the UT Dallas cross country teams were recognized as Lone Star Conference Academic Champions, the league announced on Monday. The Comets, led by head coach Danielle Kcholi , boasted the highest grade point average among all competing teams in each sport. The UTD men recorded a 3.784 GPA in 2025-26, while the women posted a 3.591. The Comet men were second in GPA among all men’s sports. The 2026 UTD squads will begin the season on Saturday, September 5, at the UT Tyler Cross Country Invitational in Tyler, Texas. LSC Release
