Men’s Soccer Season Preview; 2026 Campaign Begins at Home on Thursday

WASHINGTON – Following one of the program's most accomplished seasons of the last decade, the American University men's soccer team is expected to run the Patriot League table for a second straight year. The Eagles will begin their eighth campaign under head coach Zach Samol on Thursday Aug. 20 against Rutgers at Reeves Field, where they've yet to lose since returning to their renovated home in 2025.
