Raptors sign guard Malachi Smith ahead of training camp
The Toronto Raptors are filling out their roster ahead of training camp. They signed Malachi Smith to an undisclosed contract on Monday, the team announced. The 26-year-old averaged 8.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists over 15 games with the Brooklyn Nets last season, shooting 43.5 per cent from three-point range. Smith was signed to consecutive 10-day contracts with the Nets before signing a two-year non-guaranteed standard NBA deal on April 4 to play out the final week of the season.
