Scots football sits tied 4th in SCAC Preseason Poll

Batesville, AR – The 2026 Lyon football season in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference is almost here, and the Scots have ranked tied fourth in preseason polling. Texas Lutheran University leads the pack with 34 points and four first-place votes. Close behind is Hendrix in 2nd with 32 points and two first-place votes. Coming in third is Centenary College receiving 18 points, tied in 4th is Lyon and Austin College both with 17 points. Gallaudet University placed 6th receiving 8 points total.
