Canada drops Little League World Series opener against South Korea
Canada will have to regroup after a tough start to the Little League World Series on Wednesday. Vancouver Little Mountain, representing Canada at the tournament for the second year in a row and third time in the past five years, lost 7-0 to a South Korean team representing the Asia-Pacific region in South Williamsport, Pa. The Asia-Pacific rep has played in the International Bracket final of the Little League World Series seven of the past 10 years. South Korean teams are now 8-0 in openers at the event.
